If you want a nice traditional, gooey and chocolatey espresso, and excellent after sales service, the Baratza ESP Pro might be right up your alley. And, they have made some improvements over the original Encore ESP such as LED lights, antistatic pins, a digital display with encoder and timer. But there are also deficits. The antistatic pins are largely ineffective, and although the grinder has a very large range, everything under 38 has choked my machine. The body remains plastic, and it's still pretty loud.
