My First Indoor Race - 800 Metres As An M55

On 10th Dec 2023, I raced an indoor 800 metres in the Be Fit Today Track Academy (BFTTA) Open Meet at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre in London at the age of 57. It was my first ever indoor track race over any distance. I have however been a life long track middle distance runner with an 800 metres personal best of 1:55.8 in 1995. This is the 6th part of the series 800 Metres - As an M55. I do intend to continue to race indoors over the winter so this is far from the end of the series.
