About This Video

This month I’m absolutely loading my sewing plate, and yes… it’s a lot. In this video I walk you through the lineup of projects I’m attempting, from quick wins that keep the momentum going, to the more involved makes that need actual planning (and a bit of bravery). If you’re into capsule wardrobes, this is basically me mapping out how I want my handmade pieces to work together in real life—what I’ll actually wear, what layers well, and what fills the annoying gaps in my wardrobe. I’m also on a mission to calm down my scrap situation, so you’ll see me weaving in scrap-busting and more thoughtful fabric use as I go. I share what I’m making, why I picked each project, and how I’m thinking about balancing “fun sewing” with practical capsule pieces. The big takeaway: you can absolutely sew a ton in a month, but it helps to choose patterns that play nicely together, keep a mix of easy and challenging projects, and stay flexible when real life (and the sewing mess) shows up.
