About This Video

Maxaroma is always putting me on new fragrances, and in this video I’m sharing my first impressions on some fresh newness they sent over. We’re exploring two scents from Mes Bisous (Crumble Me Softly and Balle Rouge), plus a brand new release from an Italian house I’m new to—Profumi Di Polignano (Wow). I walk you through what the notes suggest, what my nose actually picks up on paper vs. skin, and why testing matters—because how one house blends a note can completely change the vibe. Crumble Me Softly surprised me in the best way: it’s a chocolate chip cookie gourmand, but the lavender gives it personality so it’s not just a basic foodie bomb. Balle Rouge was the wild card—on me it turns into a powdery lemon-and-iris moment that feels more daytime easy-reach than the “sexy heavy hitter” I expected. Profumi’s Wow is a “maybe” for now (cumin and geranium can be tricky for me), but it smooths out with creamy vanilla/benzoin and I’m not mad at it. And then we get into some heat: House of Dastan 12 Faces. I’ve smelled it before and knew it would be great—spicy, smooth, and giving date night in cooler weather with oud, saffron, sandalwood, and almond leading the way.
