In this video, I’m unboxing some very exciting scent mail from Lancôme—my first time ever receiving anything beauty or fragrance related like this, so you already know I was hype. The whole “peach on repeat” theme is so cute (it comes like a little record moment), and the packaging honestly did its thing. Inside is the new Lancôme Idôle Peach ‘N Roses, and this is also my very first time smelling anything from the Idôle line… so yes, this was a moment. I walk you through the bottle (I love how thin it is, and it actually has a base so it can stand up on your vanity), then we get into the notes: sparkling red berries, juicy peach, and velvety rose. On first spray, it’s immediately peach-forward, but I swear I’m also getting something like guava even though it’s not listed—plus a tart, bright pop that reminds me a little of grapefruit up top. The rose comes through and pulls it into that fruity floral lane, and for me this is giving late spring into summer when it starts warming up outside. It was a love-at-first-sniff “yes,” and I’m definitely recommending you get your nose on it—plus I’ll be doing a dedicated review once I’ve worn it more.
