In this video, I’m going through some old school fragrance flyers and sampler strips I got in the mail—and yes, they ended up being from Ulta (I noticed the little Ulta logo tucked in the corner). I tested everything in real time, calm vibes, and I’m giving you my honest first impressions as I smell each one. We’re talking Dior first, then we get into the new “Berry Crush” moment from Libre.
For Dior, the sampler had two scents: Miss Dior Essence (the newer one) and Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. I started with Miss Dior Essence because I already know I love her—she’s a darker take on that OG Miss Dior DNA, and I can confirm it’s real love because I actually own a full-size bottle. Blooming Bouquet was a first smell for me and it came off fresh, light, and very spring-coded—super feminine. It’s a “maybe” only because I want to test the real juice in-store, but off the sample alone? It’s giving yes.
Then I moved on to Libre: the original and the new Libre Berry Crush with raspberry. I still don’t like the original (that lavender is too astringent to me), even after smelling it a million times. And honestly, Berry Crush disappointed me—I got coconut, a little raspberry, and that original Libre DNA, but it’s not full-bottle worthy for me. I’m just glad I didn’t blind buy.
