Ask and you shall receive—today I’m doing old-school finger swatches of the new NARS Ultimate Blush Palette in the Medium to Deep version. I picked this up because I wanted a solid travel palette that would actually work on my skin tone in basically any situation, and we’re swatching everything together in real time (yes, untouched palette). The shade names are on the back, so I’m calling them out as I go and giving you my first impressions as they hit the skin. We start with the top row: Angelica (a frosty pink that definitely shows up), Dominant (a poppy pink matte that I immediately liked), and Teased (a bold fuchsia moment). Then we get into the bottom row: Luster (a light peachy shade that’s pretty, but I can tell I’ll need to build it up when I wear it out), Taj Mahal (one of my all-time favorites—shimmering orange, created for Naomi Campbell, and it still eats), and Exhibit A (bright, very pigmented, and not here to play).
