This video was highly requested by you all (my elves), so I’m finally doing a full compare-and-contrast on the Ex Nihilo Lust In Paradise collection. I own all three fragrances in the current lineup—the original Lust In Paradise, Lust In Paradise Riviera (limited edition), and Lust In Paradise Reine Paradis (Rain Parody Edition)—and I’ve actually worn them over time, so this isn’t just first impressions. Ex Nihilo was my favorite fragrance house for 2025, and this collection really shows why: everything is well blended, niche-feeling, and has that signature transparency while still performing. I break down the notes and the vibe of each one and explain how I wear them seasonally. The original Lust In Paradise is springtime personified to me—peony-forward, airy, bright, and very feminine (yes, people compare it to Delina, and I get it, but it still does its own thing). Riviera is the true summer version in my wardrobe: warmer florals like tiare and tuberose, plus musk and cashmere that give it longevity and a gorgeous trail. Reine Paradis has that California-sun inspiration with a solar accord that’s blended so well it never goes full sunscreen, and the woodier/ambery base makes it my most year-round option—though it really sings for me in fall and winter. And yes, I’ve heard the rumors about a possible “Extra” edition… and if it drops, I’m getting it.
