Today I’m doing a Burberry Goddess perfume trio buying guide because I own all three versions and I’ve actually worn them out on my body—so this isn’t just a quick sniff on a test strip. Burberry Goddess (the 2023 original) has a full-on cult following for a reason. On skin it turns into that straight-up, easy vanilla that just works, and I totally get why it became a signature scent for so many people. It’s the trio of vanillas (infusion, caviar, absolute) with lavender and a little ginger zing, and for me it’s a compliment magnet. Then we get into the flankers: Goddess Intense (2024) and Goddess Parfum (2025). Intense is definitely richer and longer lasting, but it’s also woodier and earthier with that patchouli—so I only enjoy it when it’s cold outside, and I have to be in the mood. Parfum is the twist that impressed me most: raspberry plus a leather/suede accord takes it from “designer vanilla” into something that feels more elevated and niche, and it actually goes on a journey. My ranking: Parfum is my favorite for creativity, the OG is second for being effortless, and Intense is last because that earthy patchouli can be challenging.
