This one is made by Rottay and while there's a lot of choices out there especially on Amazon, I think that the Rottay laptop stand has some great features that make it unique. So in this video I'll show you why I'm really liking this one. First of all, it's made out of solid aluminum and it's really sturdy. The main tray has non-slip pads on it to prevent scratches and to keep your computer from moving around. The same type of pads can also be found on the bottom to protect your desk. For adjustments, the locking buttons are clearly marked so you'll know exactly where to look. And they definitely have an industrial strength feel to them. Every adjustment just locks in tight with a very distinct click so I know that no matter what position it's in, it's not going to move on me. And because of the sturdy arm and hinges, the Rottay laptop stand can handle devices up to 20 pounds. There's also plenty of cutouts on the laptop tray to allow good ventilation. And the reason this stand has changed the way I work is because now my laptop sits at eye level so I can look straight ahead instead of bending my neck to look down at my desk. I was having neck pain before but now it's gone away now since I started using this stand. One thing to be aware of is that there is some wobbling while typing or if I bump my desk. But this wobbling happens on other stands as well that utilize a single arm for support. And here's another feature that makes this really stand out. The laptop platform can actually extend allowing you to raise your computer higher. This is really helpful if need to stand up to work. As mentioned before, using this laptop stand has really improved my posture while sitting at my desk. But it does help to use an external keyboard and mouse so my hands can rest on the desk and to prevent excessive wobbling. It's very compact so I can easily move it to other rooms in my house. I'm really enjoying the fact that I don't have to bend down to look at my screen now. With a maximum height of around 18 inches, I can do my work standing up without having to buy an expensive standing desk. This is really convenient and I can take it on the go easily.
