How to Charge Oculus Quest 2 Headset with Dead Battery - Where is Oculus Quest 2 USB-C Charging Port Oculus Quest USB-C Cable: https://amzn.to/3uR8ehe I just realized many new Oculus Quest 2 owners are wondering how to charge the VR headset. So in this quick video I'll show you what to do when the battery is drained. There is a charging port but it may not be noticeable right out of the box. It's located on the lower left side of the unit and it's actually covered by a protective wrap for shipping. All you have to do is peel this cover off and the charging port will be revealed. And that's where you'll see the USB-C slot as well as a headphone port next to it. Then find the charger from the small white box and plug the USB-C cable into the wall adapter. Now just plug the other end into the Oculus headset. On the right side there'll be an indicator light that displays charging status. Red means battery is low. Yellow means it's charging. And green is fully charged. And now you know how to charge the Oculus Quest 2. The controllers on the other hand do not need charging. But they do need batteries and what I'm about to show you will come in handy later. So if you look at the side of the controller, there's actually a removable cover. Towards the top there's an arrow showing which direction it'll slide off. I know a lot of people are having trouble with this but you'll need both thumbs pressing on the cover. At the same time push the cover towards the bottom of the handle. This is actually the most difficult part because it's so tight. But when the cover is off, the AA battery pops out very easily. When inserting the new battery, pay attention to the polarity and slip the negative side in first. And then press down on the spring to pop it in. At this point just slide the cover back on. And now you know how to charge the Oculus Quest 2 VR headset and change the batteries in the controller!
