And in this video I'm going to take a look at the BG700 robot vacuum from Bagotte. After unpacking it, this sticker needs to be removed first. And pull out both shipping pads on the bumpers. The BG700 is 2.7 inches tall and is completely round so it won't get caught on corners and things. Plus it has sensors to prevent it from falling down stairs. It comes with extra brushes, air filter, magnetic strip, a cleaning tool, remote control with batteries, charging dock and instruction manual.The vacuum itself is 12.5 inches in diameter and on the bottom there are large rubber wheels and the main power switch. Before starting, snap on two of the side brushes onto the front of the BG700. Now turn on the main power switch and charge the robot vacuum in the dock before first use. The pulsating purple light charging light will turn solid blue when it reaches 100%. Overall, the BG700 is pretty quiet and I'm really surprised that it doesn't scare my cat like my regular vacuum! After it's activated, it'll just roam around the house cleaning my carpets and floors. It'll go everywhere but with the included magnetic strip, I can prevent it from entering areas I don't want it to go. Just lay the strip anywhere to create a barrier for the vacuum. It does a great job keeping the vacuum from crossing into another room or area. The BG700 also has infrared sensors to prevent it from falling off edges and stairs. I've done several tests and it hasn't fallen down any stairs yet! So I don't have to worry that I'm going find my vacuum crashing anytime soon. On a full charge, the BG700 will run for about an hour and a half. And when it's done cleaning it'll return to the dock by itself or I can press the Home button on the remote and send it back for charging. On the back is the collection canister. And that's where I'll find the replaceable filter and then the main lid opens so I can dispose of the dirt. In addition to the wireless remote, Bagotte has an app for iPhone and Android to control all it's functions. But you do have to create an account to use this so just be aware of that. Once the account has been setup, the BG700 can also be connected to Alexa for voice control. Just go to Skills and Games and search for Bagotte BG700. Voice control will also work with Google Assistant as well. You can activate 6 cleaning modes including automatic, scheduled, spot and edge cleaning, single room and max cleaning. At $200 the BG700 is priced at about the middle of all the other robot vacuums. But I've found the Bagotte to be feature packed and does great cleaning around my house. One thing I think would be nice to have is more magnetic boundary strips. But I can buy extras if needed. I've listed the BG700 and magnetic strips here in the description to make it easy for you to find. I haven't really uncovered any glaring issues with this vacuum but I have found that rooms with a lot of chairs can be troublesome. So in my dining room and office it's probably better to use a regular vacuum. Lastly, if I need a specific area cleaned, I can manually control the direction of the vacuum to go over the exact spot that needs more attention. But overall the BG700 has been doing a great job picking up dirt around my house!
