Adobe Premiere Not Scaling in Program Window - Animating Premiere Pro Scale Keyframes Not Working Western Digital 4TB Drive: https://amzn.to/3zo75Qt USB 3.0 Hard Drive Cable: https://amzn.to/2WBrAe4 For years, I've had a problem in Adobe Premiere where it won't show an element on the timeline scaling during playback. It used to work but I don't remember which version of Premiere where this issue started. The good thing is that I recently figured out how to get Premiere to actually display scaling in the Program window... and in this video I'm gonna show you how to get yours working too! So really quickly, here's what's happening. I can go to the Effects Control window and set two keyframes for scaling. When I hit the spacebar, what I would expect to see is this image growing in size but it's not. And if I look in the Effects Controls, clearly Premiere is registering the change between keyframes with the scale numbers increasing. At the same time, the image in the Program window is just frozen at the size set by the last keyframe. Sometimes when I play and pause, it will jump between the size of the first keyframe and the last. The fix for this is really easy. Here's what to do. Click on the File menu at the top left. In the dropdown menu, go to Project Settings and then click on General. Find the renderer setting in the popup menu and where it currently says Mercury Playback Engine Software Only, change this to Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration CUDA. Then hit OK. Now when I hit play the Program window actually shows the logo or image on layer 2 increasing in size. And this is exactly what I want to see while editing. So give this a try and tell me how it goes in the comments. If this video was helpful please give me a thumbs up and hit the subscribe button to stay up to date on all my weekly videos.
