Boom. In this video I’m giving you the very first details—and your first look—at the next collaboration between The Perfect Bag and CTactical for 2026. If you were here for the first one, you already know the Sunbear (CT16 Plus Ultra, coyote details) is still one of my all-time favorites. I’m biased, sure, but I genuinely think it’s the best-looking bag CTactical has ever made, and I’m keeping mine forever. This new project is inspired by the Sunbear, but it is not the Sunbear—and the Sunbear is not coming back. I also lay out how I do collaborations, because that matters. This isn’t “take an existing bag, slap on a colorway, and charge a premium.” I only do real design collaboration that pushes the maker (and me) forward, and it’s limited by nature because these are special projects that don’t fit a normal business model. Most important: the price stays reasonable (no collaboration premium), I take $0, and revenue from every bag sold goes to charity. For this collab, we’re giving back to Gia Lai “Warm Blood” Club in central Vietnam—a local charity partnering with the Red Cross for blood donation efforts and community support like warm meals.
