In this video, I’m sharing a very personal update: I’ve been given an amazing opportunity to travel to Nicaragua with a team of volunteers to serve families and students who need practical support. We’re going to help donate essentials like clothes, food, school supplies, and basic household items—things that can make a real difference in a child’s ability to learn and thrive. This trip is close to my heart because it connects my passion for language education with hands-on humanitarian work. I’m also teaming up with His Hands His Feet in summer 2022 to provide EFL teacher workshops at Fabretto. As an ESL teacher trainer with over 20 years in schools, I know how powerful it is when teachers have strategies, resources, and encouragement—especially in communities where materials can be limited.
