In this video I’m checking out the newest vSeeBox model, the V6 Plus, and breaking down what actually matters if you’re looking for a serious 4K streaming player. I go over the key specs—Android TV 14 (which I honestly applaud), the Amlogic S95W CPU with a G31 MP2 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, HDMI 2.1, Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and the video decoding support for H.264/H.265 10‑bit HDR. I also talk about the one spec that’s a bit of a letdown: the Ethernet port is only 10/100, not gigabit, even though Wi‑Fi performance has been rock solid for me. I also spend time on the remote because that’s how you live with the box every day—and this one is backlit (don’t buy a box without a backlit remote, that’s my two cents). The programmable color buttons are awesome: single tap, double tap, and long press gives you a ton of shortcuts. Then I show real-world playback: 4K YouTube at 2160p, plus 4K Dolby Vision and 4K HDR content through Plex with zero hiccups or stuttering, along with solid Dolby/DTS codec support. The big V6 Plus “upgrade” over the V6 Max is multi-screen/split-screen, though I did notice a timeout issue I’d like to see fixed via an update.
