About This Video

In this video I’m checking out the latest MOFT MOVAS vegan leather cases for the iPhone 17 Pro Max—specifically the Frame Case and the Snap Case—and both come in around the $50 range. If you’re hunting for a leather alternative that still feels really nice in hand, MOFT’s material honestly does a good job. It’s not real leather (let’s not pretend), but it has a soft-touch feel, a clean look, and MOFT claims it’s stain-resistant and won’t fade even after a bunch of rubbing. The Frame Case is the minimalist option: super thin and light (about 30g), with your phone’s sides exposed so you still get that “natural” premium iPhone feel. What I like is the extra beefed-up corner cushioning and surprisingly solid front lip protection for a frame-style case. The tradeoff is MagSafe strength—without a “tail” style accessory, the magnets felt a little weak. The Snap Case is the full 360 protection option (still light at ~36g) with a plush lining inside, aluminum buttons, and good front/back protection. MagSafe is a bit stronger than the Frame Case, but still not the strongest I’ve tested. My main nitpick: the aluminum buttons feel a little sharp in hand, and the USB-C cutout may be tight for thicker cables.
