Howdy Folks! In this short, I'm talking through the Backflush procedure on my espresso machine. My machine is a Breville Dual Boiler. It lets me know when it's time to clean (every 200 shots!). And it also handles the entire process. But a lot of folks out there have manual machines like Gaggias. If that's you, then this video shows you how to copy paste the Breville procedure for your manual machine. It's basically three longer shots with a minute wait in between followed by several short shots. Finally, rinse everything out and pull your shot! You can get Cafiza powder here: https://amzn.to/4rASBam It's way cheaper than tablets, is exactly the same, and can be used for general cleaning as well (it's a basic solution that saponifies fats). Go grab some. I love my set up, especially my Baratza Sette 270. Best grinder I've ever owned and I have zero desire to change it. Buy it here: https://amzn.to/4bxHskC I guarantee you it's money well spent. As for my espresso machine, it's a Breville Dual Boiler. For the price, it's one of the simplest and best prosumer machines out there and loves handling my three shots, one capuccino and two hot cocoas that I need to make every morning. If you must have a Breville Dual Boiler, you can get that one here: https://amzn.to/3PuQs2M Oh, and my blind basket is 58mm. That works for my machine and also Gaggia and Rancilio Machines. Get that here: https://amzn.to/4uCQKDN It won't work for the Breville Barista, you need a 54mm Blind Basket. Get that here: https://amzn.to/4nsGonx Alright folks, much love! Over and out!
