Good morning guys—this video is a behind-the-scenes look at our newborn triplets’ photoshoot at home. The big mission at the start of the day was keeping the boys awake so they’d be nice and sleepy once the shoot began (because if we had to travel to a studio, they’d only fall asleep on the way and then be wide awake when we arrived). Having the shoot in our own house honestly felt like such a relief with triplets—less stress, less rushing, and a much calmer flow for the babies. You’ll see our photographer, Ciara Murphy, arrive and set up the whole area with the beanbag and all the little “tricks of the trade” to make everything look smooth and safe for the newborn poses. I feed the boys, we get them wrapped up snug (Sebby was the first to doze off), and then we work through individual and group shots. It took about four hours, and it really reminded me how much work goes into even one photo—especially with three newborns. Afterward, the boys are mostly sleepy and settled, and I share that I’ll post the final images over on my Instagram.
