Strawberry Pretzel Salad/Dessert is a quick step by step video. This salad/dessert has just the right combination of sweet and salty. It's super yummy and light. Give it a try!! Strawberry Salad/Dessert Recipe: 3 - 3 oz boxes of strawberry jello (You can use 2 - 3 oz boxes & 2 cups of boiling water for a thinner jello if you like.) 3 cups of boiled water 3 cups of crushed salted pretzels 8 oz of cream cheese at room temperature 9 tbsp of melted unsalted butter 8 oz of whipped topping (unfrozen) cooking spray (I used butter flavor) 1/4 cup of white granulated sugar for pretzel crust 1/2 cup of white granulated sugar for cream cheese mixture 13 X 9 glass baking dish (my preference, can use regular baking pan) 24 oz of frozen strawberries ( I partially thawed mine) (You can use fresh sliced strawberries if you like) Preheat oven to 350° F. Mix strawberry jello with 3 cups of boiling water. Stir until jello is dissolved. Set aside and allow to cool to room temperature. Crush 3 cups of salted pretzels. (You can put them in a ziplock bag and use a big spoon or rolling pin to crush them if you like.) Melt 9 tbsp of butter in microwave or on stove top. Add 1/4 cup of sugar. Add in pretzel pieces. Stir well. Place pretzel mixture in your baking pan. (Be sure to spray pan with cooking or baking spray first.) Smooth out your pretzel crust and bake in oven for 12 minutes. Cool crust to room temperature. After crust has cooled, beat your cream cheese and 1/2 cup of sugar until fluffy white. Spread fluff over crust. Make sure to cover all edges so that you will have a tight seal. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Add strawberries on top of mixture and gently pour jello on top of strawberries. Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours. Enjoy!
