Grace and peace to you today. 🤍 French Toast Casserole from Delores Simon (Adjusted by The Ginger Optimist) Ingredients: 9 pieces of Artisan bread (can use French bread) 1 cup brown sugar 1 stick unsalted buttered softened 1 tablespoon honey 7 to 8 eggs 2 1/2 cups of Almond Vanilla milk or whole milk 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1 tablespoon of Cinnamon Directions: Combine brown sugar, softened butter, and honey. Press into bottom of 9X13 pan. Place first layer of bread slices on top of brown sugar mixture. Beat eggs with milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Pour half of egg mixture over bread and add a second layer of Artisan bread. Cover with tinfoil. Keep in the refrigerator over night. Pull out 30 minutes before cooking. Flip the bread and sprinkle more cinnamon on top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes until light golden brown. Music license by YouTube Audio.
