Organic grass fed ground beef 1 tsp minced garlic 1 large onion diced 1 tbsp of tomato paste 2 bell peppers (I used a mixture of yellow and red) 2 carrots peeled and sliced 2 stalks of celery chopped 3/4 cabbage chopped 2 cans of organic diced tomatoes (14.5 oz cans) 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp basil 1 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes 1/2 tsp black pepper 8 ½ cups of hot water (I added 5 tbsp of Better than Bouillon beef base to the hot water) *You can add more if you like after the soup is cooked. *According to your taste. *Typically you will use 1 tsp. of Better than Bouillon per cup of hot water 3 bay leaves Directions: Turn instant pot on Saute mode. When it reads HOT immediately cook the ground beef, onions, and minced garlic. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Saute until the beef is cooked. Stir frequently. Add seasonings. Add bell peppers, carrots, celery, tomato paste, diced tomatoes with juice. Stir and cook for one minute. Add water with Better Than Bouillon mixture now. Mix well. Add cabbage. Add bay leaves. Place lid on instant pot and close sealing valve. Set to manual high for 4 minutes. Allow 10 minutes for natural release. Now do a quick release. Serve and enjoy! *Can serve with crackers.
