In Part III of this series on how to fill fountain pens, I look at two different style of eyedropper fountain pens: (1) a Japanese-style eyedropper featuring a valve system designed to prevent leakage and minimize burping, especially as the pen gets low on ink and the heat from your hand causes the ink/air to expand; and (2) a standard Franklin-Christoph cartridge-converter fountain pen that I convert to an eyedropper using readily available silicon grease.
