If you want your makeup to last longer and still look fresh, smooth, and beautiful all day, these are the three things I always tell you not to skip before foundation. In this video, I’m breaking down my simple skin prep that makes a huge difference—especially if your foundation normally looks patchy, separates, fades fast, or starts looking cakey. The goal is a flawless base, and trust me, it starts way before you even touch foundation. First, I go in with moisturizer because you need your face hydrated for your makeup to sit well and actually last. I use an “Advanced Moist” moisturizer here, but I also remind you that any moisturizer that works for your face is fine—just let it sit properly before moving on. Next is primer (mine is from Zyro Cosmetic), and I talk about choosing the right one for your skin type, like oily or dry. Lastly, I use setting spray before foundation to lock in the moisturizer and primer, then I let it dry for a few minutes before applying foundation.
