During COVID19, Are PADI (and other training agencies) doing ENOUGH to support the diving industry?

Welcome to Deefer Diving's new YouTube channel, D for Diving. Today is a conversation about the impact on the diving industry on the shut-down of tourism due to the covid-19 pandemic. Many dive professionals have become quite vocal, as many either risk losing or have already lost jobs, and naturally they're looking for someone to take responsibility, or blame. We've been asked our thoughts many times, and asked to contribute to various pressure campaigns aimed at trying to force one organisation of another to support participants in the industry in a way they were never set up to. Do the question we're posing here today is "Is PADI doing enough?" I think you'll get a clear understanding of our views, and we urge people working in the dive industry to reach out and gain a better understanding of the structure of our industry and the roles we all play in it.
