Terminal Tech Talk - Women Who Lead

Women make up just over half of the North American population, yet we do not see a representative amount of women in leadership roles or in tech. In this Terminal Tech Talk we look to explore some of what inhibits women from getting into leadership and advice on how it can be overcome by chatting with three exceptional women who have shown it’s possible to go the distance. Join us for a conversation with the Honourable Bardish Chagger, Canada’s Minister of Diversity and Inclusion and Youth, Andrea Curry, Senior Vice President of Product Management at Axonify, and Neha Khera, Partner at 2048 Ventures. It will be an engaging conversation as they share their stories of triumph and the challenges they overcame along the way. The conversation will be moderated by Raeana Samuel, the University of Waterloo’s Women in Computer Science Outreach Coordinator and Technovation Girls Chapter Lead. We will also be taking questions from the online audience on Terminal’s livestream page. We want to clarify that when we speak of or mention “women” in this event, we include all women-identified people.
