What kind of Tele-style guitar kit can you really get for around $100? In today’s video, we unbox, assemble, set up, and play the STRICH STL-D10 Telecaster-style guitar kit — all in one video. This kit came straight from STRICH, and I wanted to see what kind of guitar experience a beginner builder or budget-minded player could expect right out of the box. We walk through the neck, body, electronics, solderless wiring system, assembly process, quick setup, tone samples, and final thoughts after getting this thing playable. The big surprise? That neck pocket fit is shockingly good. But there are also some things you’ll probably want to address if this kit becomes a long-term project guitar: scratchy frets, noisy electronics, no bridge ground wire, and a few budget hardware compromises. Still, for around $100, there may be a whole lot of potential packed into this mahogany-bodied Tele kit. And yes… we will hear some tone samples. If you’ve ever wondered whether a budget Tele kit is worth your time, this one might help answer that question.
