DIY Guitar Neck Project | Finish, Fretwork, & Install

If it’s a day called today, we’re talking guitars and life. Well guys, the Fojill DIY kit adventure continues. Since the body from the kit wasn’t exactly copacetic, I decided to use the neck for another project. So in this video we reshape the headstock, stain and finish the neck, level and polish the frets, install locking tuners, and eventually attempt to fit this thing onto the old Bex Gears body. Along the way we talk stainless steel frets, fret leveling, neck fitment, true oil finishes, DIY guitar kits, and whether or not this whole crazy experiment was worth the trouble in the first place.
