Testing Shielding Continuity, Brass Saddles & Artec Hot Rail Install | BexGears Kit Modding

If it’s a day called today, we’re talking guitars and life! In this episode of Ted Talks Guitars and Life, we are back at the workbench for some serious upgrades on the BexGears Guitar Kit body. First things first: we’re using a meter to check our cavity shielding paint for continuity. Then, we move into the hardware. I’m installing Musiclily brass compensated saddles with string grooves—we're going to see if they hold up against the big names! Finally, we’re getting the Artec hot rail humbucker mounted in the bridge. Clocking in at over 12.1k output, this thing is built to rock or at least I hope so. We ran into a little snag with the control pots and the box switch at the end, but that’s all part of the guitar-building adventure, Jack.
