Is using Angelus Leather Dye on a mahogany guitar body a genius move or a total disaster? In Part 3 of our StewMac Kit Build, we’re moving away from traditional wood stains to see if this leather industry staple can give us a professional, high-end finish. Mahogany is famous for its open grain, and Angelus dyes are known for their incredible penetration and vibrant color. We're testing the application process, checking for "bleeding," and seeing how the wood reacts to the alcohol-based formula.
