Drilling the Ground Wire Hole & Bridge Install: StewMac Telecaster Kit Build

Welcome back to Ted Talks Guitars and Life! We are back at the workbench with "Stewie," the mahogany Tele-style object from our StewMac kit. In this episode, we’re checking to see if our shielding paint job actually worked by testing for continuity across all the cavities. I also tackle drilling the hole for the ground wire that didn't come pre-drilled in the kit. I’m using my "overkill" method for ensuring a solid ground connection with copper tape before we get the bridge plate mounted. I’ve had a change of heart on the string-through conversion for now—I want to see how this kit looks right out of the box first!
