It’s another "Cool People Send Me Cool Stuff" day, and today’s package comes from my dear brother, John Dodson. John, you are incredibly generous, but you might be overestimating my skills with a router! Inside the box, we’ve got some serious onboard electronics for an acoustic guitar: an LC5 unit featuring a 5-band EQ (Bass, Mid 1, Mid 2, Treble, Presence), a built-in tuner, and a boost! It even came with a dual-connectivity battery box for RLC and 1/4" outputs. The big question is: Which guitar gets the upgrade? I’ve got a 40-year-old Epiphone acoustic that’s been begging for some love, but am I brave enough to cut into a guitar I’ve owned for four decades?
