Building "Pistol Pete" - $52 TEMU Guitar Kit - Applying Tru-oil (OSU Tribute Part 5)

We are moving forward with the neck for the Pistol Pete project. In this video, I am taking the tape off to see how the lines turned out on the headstock and the heel. The orange poly is looking bright and shiny, exactly what my son wanted for this OSU tribute, but I don't want that sticky poly feel on the back of the neck. I'm walking through the process of using 0000 steel wool to knock down the ledge between the finish and the wood, and then applying the first of five coats of Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil.
