"Big Tex" Guitar Rescue: Reshaping the Headstock

In this video, I'm getting back to work on the neck of "Big Tex," a $40 marketplace find. The focus today is on changing the profile of the headstock and getting the neck ready for some new hardware. What I’m doing in this episode: Headstock Reshaping: Using a coping saw to give the headstock a more traditional look. Tuning Hole Upgrade: Reaming out the original 8mm holes to 10mm to fit modern tuners. Sanding and Finishing: Sanding down the neck and applying a coat of Minwax Gunstock 231 to the bare wood.
