AKLOT Soltone Deep Dive: Component Teardown & Technical Review

Is the Aklot Soltone a "smoking hot machine" or does it need a little work out of the box? In this episode, we’re going under the hood of the AKLOT Soltone series for a complete bare-component teardown. I’m taking this guitar down to the wood to assess the features, specs, and playability so you can see exactly what you’re getting.We tackle the good, the bad, and the "juicy tidbits"—from the branded locking tuners to a surprising factory shim in the neck pocket. Key Highlights from the Shop: The Fret Challenge: A look at why the high E string is catching on the ball-end stainless steel frets and the repair steps I’ll be taking. Neck Anatomy: Measurements of the neck profile (21mm at the 1st fret) and a look at the abalone inlays. Internal Components: Inspecting the "KD" branded humbuckers, the push-pull coil split, and checking the bridge and control cavity.
