In this live unboxing, I crack open the Apple Watch Series 6 (44mm) in the Product Red finish. I’m on a time crunch and literally taking a quick break from work, so the production is “grab the box and go,” but you still get a clean look at what actually comes in the package. Apple does the whole flashy unboxing thing, and I show the two-box setup: the watch itself and the red Velcro strap (and yeah—Apple straps come with that “Apple tax,” because you can usually get aftermarket bands way cheaper). I also put it side-by-side with my well-worn daily Apple Watch Series 5 so you can see the real-world differences. From the outside, it’s mostly about the color, but the big upgrade is on the back: the Series 6 sensor layout changes to support the blood oxygen saturation sensor, and I point out how the sensor housing looks like it might protrude a bit more than my Series 5. I also show that Apple no longer includes a charging brick—just the charging cable—so if you need a brick, you’ll have to grab one separately. This is just the unboxing, but the goal is fitness testing.
