About This Video

In this video I’m basically pulling the curtain back and showing you what I actually do day-to-day, because YouTube didn’t translate (and probably never will translate) into a full-time job for me. I started on YouTube back around 2014, and along the way I learned way more about cameras, lighting, audio, editing, and yes—fitness trackers—than I ever expected. But the biggest thing YouTube gave me was a real love for video and creative work. So I take you with me on a real job: shooting photos and drone shots for a real estate media company I’m building with a broker friend (Dayton/Cincinnati area). I show my “Techy Agent command center” setup, how I shoot HDR real estate photos (five brackets into one final image), and how I edit—without Adobe—using Luminar 4, EasyHDR, and Final Cut Pro. Then I wrap it with the life lesson: don’t get siloed into “I have to be a YouTuber.” Say yes to creative opportunities where your skill set applies, take the baby steps, build reputation, and you might open doors to the exact creative path you actually want.
