PXN V10 Ultra on Amazon (affiliate): https://locally.link/5sCN Products provided by PXN I’m gonna lay this out up front so you have some context for everything I have to say about this thing. This whole kit costs £200. Just keep that in mind as I say anything about this thing. Right, let’s look at this direct drive wheel and pedals combo! This is the PXN V10 Ultra, an ultra-budget direct drive wheel with the highlight features being 3.2 newton metres of peak force, a 270mm wheel and metal hall-effect pedals that can even be upgraded post setup to add a clutch pedal! You can even get a formula style wheel too! Genuinely, this thing is so so impressive. Let’s break it down. About This Video

I’m going to lay this out up front: this entire PXN V10 Ultra direct drive wheel and pedals kit is under £200, and that context basically frames everything. In this video I break down what you actually get for ultra-budget money: a 3.2Nm peak direct drive base, a 270mm wheel, and all-metal Hall-effect pedals that you can even upgrade later with a clutch. I also walk through the base design (it’s remarkably small), the tilting mount that can clamp to a desk or bolt to a rig, and the slightly awkward install thanks to rough clamps and an unlabeled bag of bolts. From there I go into software setup with PXN Sim Racing—firmware updates, 900° default steering lock, force feedback tuning, and pedal curves (including non-linear response). On feel, the wheel is comically small and the shifter paddles are a bit anemic, but the direct drive feedback is genuinely good for the money—more granular and quieter than a Logitech G923, even if it’s weaker overall and nowhere near an Asetek Invicta/“Innithium” bundle. The pedals are super adjustable, but the brake spring add-on is basically cockpit-only; on the floor it’s either too stiff or too vague. Still, at this price, I’m genuinely surprised: the real question is “what’s the horrendous flaw?”—and I don’t think there is one.
