About This Video

In this video I did a straightforward projector review, and I kept it real by putting the WEMAX Go Advanced next to a “standard, very expensive” laser projector—the Epson E-L210W—so you can see what you’re actually gaining and losing. The funny part is laser projectors are usually big and heavy (trust me, that Epson bag is not a vibe), but WEMAX somehow squeezed laser tech into this super thin, hand-holding form factor. So I tested them in a fully lit room first, then I turned the lights off to show how the WEMAX looks when you’re actually doing movie night. My main takeaway: the WEMAX Go Advanced isn’t as bright as the Epson (and that’s expected because it’s tiny), but it’s still very usable—even with lights on. Where it really starts bullying the big projector is portability and features: built-in battery (about up to 2 hours depending on brightness), Android-based OS, Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi built in, internal storage, and easy casting with Miracast without downloading a bunch of random apps. If I had to pick one for real life—meetings, travel, or just a clean home setup—I’d personally go WEMAX for the versatility, the smart features, and the sleekness.
