I break down what I actually care about with tripods in real life: sturdiness. Most budget tripods get wobbly the second a breeze hits, and you don’t even notice the shake until you check the footage later. With this one, the reinforced steel feet at the base make a big difference—on a table or on the ground it plants down firm, and my phone isn’t doing that annoying tilt-and-wobble. I also talk about the “mag safe” style mounting, because this doesn’t use a normal clamp. I tested it with my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra using the included metal ring on my case, and the magnets surprised me—in a good way. I could flip it upside down and shake it and it still wouldn’t drop. Setup is quicker than the tripods I’m currently using, and the extra length helps a lot when you need taller shots, like full-body framing without stacking a short tripod on something. My takeaway: if you need a tripod, a selfie stick, or a hybrid for vlogging and social media shots, this one is well-built and makes filming easier. Only advice—get the black one.
