In this quick unboxing and first impressions video, I’m checking out the Vimitty Selfie Tripod Stick that just showed up in the mail. I’ve been posting about a mystery package on my socials, and this is one of the two things inside—so yeah, we’re focusing on the Vimitty tripod today. The big hook here is that it’s MagSafe, meaning if you’ve got a MagSafe-compatible iPhone, it literally snaps right on. But if you’re not on iPhone, don’t click off—because I noticed they include a metal ring with adhesive in the box. You can stick that ring onto your phone case and basically “turn” your case into a MagSafe-style setup, then slap it onto the tripod. Build-wise, it surprised me: it feels premium, has a nice weight, and doesn’t feel like that cheap feeble plastic stuff. It also comes with a Bluetooth remote that charges over USB-C (and they actually include a USB-C cable). For me, doing videos solo can be rough—framing, multiple takes, realizing I wasn’t recording—so this kind of setup can really help. And the magnet strength? Bro… it’s strong as hell. I legit struggled to get the ring off once it clamped on.
