Who summons me? Technicational. In this video I finally get around to the full review of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6—yeah, it was supposed to drop a long time ago, but better late than never. I skip the unboxing hoopla and go straight into what matters: performance, battery, and the real reason people buy a Flip in the first place—versatility. Even though this phone looks dainty, it’s a powerhouse with the latest Snapdragon inside. Apps fly, games run smooth, but because the phone is so slender you’ll sometimes see black bars or weird scaling in certain games. Battery-wise, you’re not getting some 5,000–6,000mAh monster, but it is bigger than last year and the chip is more efficient. For my use—heavy photos and showing it off because it’s a crowd pleaser—I usually reach home with around 20% (sometimes 10% when I’m really pushing it), and it doesn’t die on me during the day. The camera experience is where Samsung really put thought into it. This is a vlogging phone: I can half-open it and prop it up, hold it like a camcorder for smoother pans, and even let the person in front see themselves while I’m recording. It’s not cheap though—at this price you could grab an older Ultra with better pure camera output—but the Z Flip 6 wins on flexibility and that small folded form factor.
