About This Video

Look, you shouldn’t necessarily change yourself—but if the times demand it, changing yourself is crucial. In this video I break down the top programming languages to learn in 2026 that will stay in high demand, whether you’re a college student or already working. My goal is simple: give you clarity so you can pick a language based on use case, your career direction, and even real-world constraints like client budget—because there’s no “good” or “bad” language, it’s always about where to use what. I cover JavaScript as “the king that refuses to die” because for web folks it’s basically a survival skill—frontend, backend, frameworks, APIs, dashboards, extensions, internal tools, everything. Then I talk about Python as the brain of the AI economy: AI, automation, agents, data pipelines, bots—Python is everywhere in 2026. For backend career security, I rank Java as the money engine that runs banking, fintech, insurance, enterprise and government systems—high-paying plus evergreen demand. I also explain why Go is rising fast in cloud, infrastructure and high-scale microservices (I’m literally seeing companies migrate from Java), and why Rust is strong for security, performance and system-level work (including WebAssembly and cybersecurity tooling). Finally, I call out TypeScript separately for web engineers—more safety, fewer production errors, and enterprise-ready code. At the end, I tell you exactly how to choose based on your path: web (JS/TS), AI/data (Python), backend (Java/Go), security/performance (Rust).
