About This Video

In this video, I’m doing a proper reality check on one question I keep hearing: “Is web development still worth it in 2026?” And I get it—AI tools, coding agents, no-code builders… it feels like magic, so self-doubt is justified. But I’m sharing this from my real journey (8+ years). I started in 2017 with basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript and an average mindset, on a 3.2 LPA package—no shortcuts, no AI, and debugging meant sitting for hours. That foundation became my strength, and that’s why I can confidently say web development isn’t going away. I also break down the 2025–2026 market reality: web developers and digital designers are still projected to grow, and openings will keep coming—but the kind of developer companies want is changing. AI is not killing developers; it’s replacing the average ones who only rely on syntax and boilerplate. Real engineering is system building—architecture, security, scalability, performance, business logic, and explaining your thinking in interviews (LLD, APIs, data structures). My clear message: use AI as your assistant, but you decide the direction. And in 2026, don’t just learn “code”—learn end-to-end delivery, including hosting, domain, SSL, deployment, and performance, because that’s where beginners struggle and where serious developers stand out.
