About This Video

In this video, I break the biggest fear people have right now: “Is web development finished in 2026 because of AI?” I’ve been watching this hype cycle since 2021 (Copilot era), then 2022 (ChatGPT wave), and now in 2026 I can clearly see what’s actually changing. Frontend roles are still open—go check LinkedIn jobs—but the expectation has shifted. Companies don’t want someone they’ll train from zero; they want people who already understand fundamentals and can jump into a codebase, build features, and handle real-world requirements. I explain what you must know to stay relevant as a frontend/React developer: deep JavaScript foundations (event loop, closures, array methods, bind/apply, etc.), React internals (rendering, reconciliation, Virtual DOM), and practical skills like routing, API integration, error handling, pagination/search, debugging, and performance optimization (avoiding unnecessary re-renders). I also talk about modern tooling that shows up in real projects—TypeScript, Redux, React Query, Webpack, testing, and CI/CD—plus why you should use AI for ideas but never become fully dependent on it. Finally, I share the salary truth: entry-level React typically sits around 6–10 LPA, and with experience it can go much higher (even 50–65 LPA depending on your level and switches). The real differentiator is problem-solving + communication + hands-on proof, not rote learning.
