About This Video

Hello everyone, Technical Sahil here. In this video I show you how to install and set up aaPanel on Ubuntu 22.04 on a fresh server. I start with the basics like cleaning up DNS records to avoid conflicts, deploying an Ubuntu 22.04 droplet (I used DigitalOcean just for quick demo), and pointing the domain to the server IP so propagation can happen while we install aaPanel. After that, I update system packages, make sure wget is available, run the official aaPanel installer script, and then log in using the URL + auto-generated username/password. Once the panel is up, I install the required stack from inside aaPanel (I go with Nginx as recommended, plus MySQL, PHP 8.3, phpMyAdmin, FTP, DNS and mail server). Then I create a PHP website, verify it’s working, and I show you one of my favorite parts: the file manager/editor—it feels like editing code in Sublime Text. I also cover the built-in terminal and a common fix where you enable SSH key login from Security → SSH if terminal login acts weird. Finally, I touch mail server setup (Redis requirement + performance tuning password), and explain that aaPanel is free but some features are paid—still, the free version is more than enough for most personal use cases.
