About This Video

In this video, I install and set up the Eufy C30 (2K) video doorbell from start to finish, and I show you what the whole process actually looks like in the real world. I do a quick unboxing of what’s included—doorbell unit, mounting brackets, drill guide, anchors/screws, and the recharge cable—and I point out one thing I really like: it’s rechargeable, so you’re not messing with regular batteries. From there, I walk through adding it in the Eufy app, scanning the code, connecting over Wi‑Fi, and the unique part: the app generates a QR code that you hold over the doorbell so it can join your network. After the electronics are done, I move outside and mount it on my stucco wall where my old doorbell was. I show how the bracket can be mounted flush or with an angled wedge for a better camera view, how to use the drill template, and how to set anchors and screws. I’m also honest about security—if someone really wanted it, they could potentially yank it off—so it’s something to be aware of even though it’s tied to your account. Once it’s snapped in, I test the built-in chime volume outside and mention you may want an extra chime box if you can’t hear it throughout the house.
