In this video, I’m sharing a quick little “hack” that can help you potentially get Starlink internet for free (or at least seriously reduce what you pay). First, I walk through the deal that was live when I recorded this: Residential Lite service showing up at $49/month for the first year, and the hardware kit (dish, router, power cable—the whole setup) priced around $89. Depending on your state, the standard kit may even show as free, so you’ll want to check what it looks like in your area. Then I explain the real trick: Starlink’s referral program. If someone signs up using your referral link, they get a free month and you get a free month too. I’m actively using this myself, which is why I’m making the video—my goal is to get enough referrals to cover an entire year of service. I also share my real-world experience using Starlink at our cabin in the middle of Colorado where it was basically the only internet option: setup is fast, you’re online within minutes, and I’ve personally seen over 300 Mbps download with uploads around 50 Mbps. For most people, I think Residential Lite is going to be a great fit.
