About This Video

In this video I’m over here in my office (yep, my piano desktop setup) taking a closer look at the Futuzen 27-inch external monitor and showing how I’m using it as a second display with my MacBook for extra screen real estate. I unbox what comes in the package (monitor, HDMI cable, power cord, manual) and walk through the quick assembly. The stand and arm literally click into place—no screws—so it’s super simple to get on your desk fast. Once it’s powered up, I show what it looks like running as an extended display (not just mirroring) so I can keep typing on my main screen while putting web pages, video editing timelines, and other work up top at eye level. I also go through the on-monitor controls and menu: brightness, color temperature (RGB), OSD settings, reset/autoconfigure, and a low blue light mode that can be nice if you work at night. My takeaway: this is a budget-friendly 1080p productivity monitor that looks crisp straight on, but it’s not a “powerhouse” display for serious graphics work or high-end gaming—and it’s definitely not your 4K dream screen. For simple office work and browsing, it’s a thumbs up.
