Wazzzup, Carpies! Finally back in Japan after 7 years, and grabe—summer in Japan is NO JOKE. In this vlog, I take you with us from our flight to Osaka, surviving the Kansai Airport arrival (SIM/internet hunt, luggage lockers, train figuring-out moments), and finally reaching our cute little Airbnb. Real talk: pawis level 100, parang Pinas yung init, so we had to adjust the plan and go with the flow—pang tito and tita travel na, no pressure. We start with our first Osaka moments: Dotonbori + the iconic Glico Sign, plus a “secret” photo spot (life hack: sa gilid or higher floor para less crowd). We also check out McDonald’s Japan menu and cool down with coffee habang nagpapalipas-oras. Then we push through to Kyoto for Arashiyama Bamboo Grove—super nostalgic because this is our proposal place—then we pivot to Fushimi Inari Taisha (yes, first Uber in Japan kasi hindi na kinaya ng bus/lakad sa sobrang init). We attempt Nishiki Market but sarado na, then we squeeze in Nara Deer Park (chaotic deer moments!) and Osaka Castle (view from afar dahil haba ng pila). Ending? One last Dotonbori food trip before we hop on the express train to Tokyo.
